Who Wings treats

Adults 18 and over, with mental health as the main concern

For addiction on its own, active psychosis, a primary eating disorder, anyone under 18, or Medi-Cal and Medicare, another program is the better fit, and admissions will help you find it. If another program would serve you better, admissions will say so and help with the next step.

How do I start the admissions process?

Call admissions or send the form. Admissions answers calls 9 a.m.–5 p.m., seven days a week. The first call includes a short, confidential assessment and an insurance check.

Can I call for someone else?

Yes. Parents, partners and clinicians can all call. The person who will be in treatment is an adult, so they agree to treatment and sign their own consent.

How soon can I start?

It depends on availability in the men’s or women’s program and on your insurance. Admissions tells you honestly what is possible. Wings does not guarantee dates.

Does the call commit me to anything?

The assessment and the insurance check are free and do not commit you to treatment.

Does Wings accept Medi-Cal or Medicare?

Wings works with many private PPO plans. If you have Medi-Cal or Medicare, admissions can point you to programs that accept your plan.
